The MPS7503 is built with a vacuum/gas flush system that works in conjunction with our MPS7000 series continuous band sealers. These machines create modified atmosphere packages to lock in quality and extend shelf life. The MPS7503 hermetically seal bags and pouches at speeds up to 800" (20.32 m) per minute and can be configured for manual, semi-automatic, or automatic loading. The sealing prcess can be adjusted to accommodate variations in material, ensuring reliable seal integrity on every bag.  It can seal any heat sealable bag or pouch up to 12 mil/300 micron in thickness (6 mil/150 micron maximum when gusseted).

VacPack Impulse Sealer

VS

Plexpack’s VacPack VS1 is a robust, impulse sealer that produces hermetically sealed packages on any heat sealable bag up to 12 mil/300 micron in thickness (6 mil/150 micron maximum when gusseted). VS1 sealers provide multistage vacuum and gas flash for softer vacuums and lower residual oxygen levels. The standard model employs two 316L grade stainless steel ejector style vacuum pumps for strong gas and vacuum flows.

Vacuum And Gas Flush Bag Sealers

Vacuum and gas flush bag sealers are advanced heat sealers engineered to significantly extend the shelf life and preserve the quality of food products and other sensitive items through controlled atmosphere packaging. These sophisticated sealing systems combine vacuum capability with a gas flush mechanism to create optimal packaging environments.

Vacuum sealing involves a powerful vacuum system and vacuum pump that removes air from vacuum bags, mylar bags, or vacuum pouches, dramatically reducing oxygen levels. This process prevents spoilage, freezer burn, and oxidation, making it ideal for food vacuum sealer applications, sous vide preparation, and general food applications. What Are The Benefits of Gas Flushing?

You can take advantage of several benefits by using a gas flush vacuum sealer for medical, coffee, cannabis, or food applications.

Longer Shelf Life

A vacuum and/or nitrogen flush bag sealer removes oxygen from the inside of food packaging. Oxygen speeds up the spoiling process by providing microorganisms with a chance to grow. It also causes oxidation, which discolors food and can give it a bad odor. Flushing the oxygen out of a food package and replacing it with nitrogen means the food inside stays fresh for longer.

Replacing oxygen with nitrogen also increases product longevity by creating a cushion inside the food packaging. The air cushion keeps fragile items, such as chips or cookies, from crumbling during transport.

Food Safety

The removal of oxygen from food packaging also enhances food safety. Aerobic bacteria, molds and yeasts need oxygen to thrive. Once the source of oxygen is gone, those microorganisms can't grow as easily.

A Fresher Appearance

Oxygen exposure can discolor food. Avocadoes and apples are just two examples of fruits that brown when exposed to oxygen in the air. While the discoloration may not affect the taste of food, it's not particularly appetizing to see.
