The Emplex Automated Bagging System | ABS Series

Plexpack’s Emplex™ Automated Bagging System (ABS)  is a state-of-the-art solution that revolutionizes packaging processes. This fully automated, all-in-one system seamlessly integrates filling, sealing, vacuuming, gas flushing, counting, and weighing functionalities, catering to various industries such as food, coffee, confectionery, grains, and more.

With the ability to package up to 20 bags per minute, the ABS1 ensures optimal efficiency while producing visually appealing, hermetically sealed packages. Its versatility allows for fine-tuning of sealing and filling processes to meet the unique requirements of different applications.

Equipped with a user-friendly touchscreen controller, integrated recipe management, and compatibility with a range of peripherals, including checkweighers and ink printers, the ABS1 provides a comprehensive packaging solution. Moreover, with its customizable features and exceptional performance, the ABS1 makes automation simple and attainable.

Sealing Automation Made Simple

The automatic bagging and sealing system is a versatile solution for packaging needs. The system accommodates various bag sizes, with widths ranging from 4.5” to 10” and lengths up to 14”. It can handle bag weights of up to 10 pounds and requires bags with a thickness of 3 mil or more. The system operates on 220V power and requires plant air at 90 PSI. 

The system integrates an ABB robot or cobot, a weigh/fill system from WeighRight, and a pneumatic conveyor from Pneu-Con, to create a complete automatic bagging and sealing system. By utilizing familiar equipment, required operator training and maintenance is simplified. Optional features include a weigh scale, metal detector, checkweigher, bulk conveyor/pneumatic conveyor, TIJ or CIJ printer, and a rear-end trimmer.
