AP Series
The AP Series is a Continous Motion Overlap Seal Shrink system operating from single roll of Film.

The machine consist of an Infeed, mattop type, conveyor which brings the product Single or multilane up against the stop and separation station. Here the product is divided into pre-determined groups with a unique stop system combined with grouping Flight bar. Once the product group is separated, the flight bar takes it to the film wrapping section. Both sections are synchronized to ensure correct sequencing. During the transfer from grouping conveyor to overlap conveyor sheet of film is indroduced from the bottom to start the wrapping process. Once the group is fully on the overlap conveyor, a overlap flight bar picks up the film and follows the group at a faster rate to get ahead of the product as it reaches the end of the overlap conveyor. The wrapping cycle is completed as the flight bar pulls the film into a slot between conveyors while the pack travels over the top of it and continues onto the Shrink tunnel conveyor. As the group travels through the heated chamber the film in overlap section fuses while the sleeve shrinks arround the contents. As the package emerges from the heater chamber it is fan cooled to facilitate further transportation and handling.
